I fell in love with yoga when I was pregnant with my first child and have been practicing yoga for over 12 years. As a very active lover of the outdoors, I found yoga to be a great compliment to all my outside activities that include hiking, camping, running, snowboarding, climbing, and biking.
When not teaching or practicing all things yoga I can be found hanging out with my two children, reading books, and enjoying the outdoors.

Arbitrarily cliche question: How has yoga impacted your life?
Yoga has impacted (and continues to impact) my life in so many ways. One of the most life changing ways was allowing me to re discover my voice, my truth, and love for myself. I found myself again and in doing so major shake-ups happened in my life. In fact my life in a way fell apart, broke into a thousand pieces as I shed all that was false around me. As I have started over listening to myself and standing in my truth, it has been yoga that helps me find my breath in times of panic and has allowed me to feel strong in moments where I doubt my ability, and it has allowed me to fully embrace life with all its colors and all the emotions, both high and low, and to know that I do belong here.
