Since its inception in 1999, Centered City Yoga has earned the reputation of being THE Original Salt Lake City Power Yoga Studio. Nestled in the vibrant 9th & 9th district of Salt Lake City, this premier SLC power yoga studio, founded by D’ana Baptiste, stands out as the original power yoga hotspot in Utah. The establishment, initially a D’ana Baptiste Power Yoga studio.

Centered City Yoga is widely regarded as the best yoga studio, boasting the highest caliber of yoga teachers in Salt Lake City and beyond. The studio, embodying the essence of Salt Lake Power Yoga, expanded over the years, making room for all yoga enthusiasts from various walks of life. The evolution of the studio led to offering a variety of yoga classes including power, Ashtanga, Anusara, alignment-based, Kundalini, and more.

As part of a meaningful transition in 2017, D’ana handed over the reins of Centered City Yoga to yogini Rachel Cieslewicz, whose dedication and sincerity she admired. Rachel, a certified Yoga Therapist, works with numerous clients offering therapeutic benefits of power yoga SLC style. She also continues her Advanced Yoga Teacher Training at Centered City Yoga.

Rachel's mission is to expand Centered City Yoga by infusing the studio with compassionate and peaceful energy, ultimately reflecting the true spirit of yoga. She strives to guide all students, even beyond the studio, to imbibe the subtle power of yoga in every moment, creating mindful actions and experiences.
